it began with a dream... a vision...

Nah, not really.  It began with hurricane Harvey.  With the neighborhood streets flooded, I was stuck in my house for almost a week with no way to get anywhere and precious few things worth doing if I managed to reach a destination.  Not having much else to do (I steadfastly refused to practice my instrument for the community band) I picked up a pair of canvas shoes and some old acrylic paint I had lying around, and voila!, a masterpiece was born.

Okay, maybe not so much a masterpiece as a cool pair of shoes.  I wore them to work and people noticed.  I made more as gifts for Christmas, and people now wanted to buy.

Hence this website.
